How Hormovance® was designed.

Daily metabolic health is not one system. It is three quieter rhythms — how the body converts food to energy, how it senses fullness, and how it sustains alertness across the day. Hormovance® was built around those three rhythms using six botanicals with a body of published evidence behind them.

Rhythm 01

Metabolism

Berberine HCL · Green Tea Extract · Cayenne Pepper

At the cellular level, metabolism is regulated by AMPK ("metabolic master switch"). Berberine HCL is one of the most-studied botanical alkaloids in modern nutrition research for AMPK activity and healthy glucose response (reviewed in Metabolism, 2012). Green Tea Extract, standardized for EGCG, has been examined across 50+ trials for thermic-effect-of-food support (meta-analysis, International Journal of Obesity, 2009). Cayenne adds short-term thermogenic support via capsaicinoids (Appetite, 2014).

Rhythm 02

Appetite awareness

Apple Cider Vinegar · Chromium

Hunger is the output of glucose, insulin, leptin, and ghrelin signaling — not willpower. Apple Cider Vinegar (acetic acid) has been investigated for its association with delayed gastric emptying and improved post-meal glucose response (Diabetes Care, 2004). Chromium picolinate, the form used in Hormovance, has been evaluated for its support of natural insulin signaling and sensible carbohydrate metabolism.

Rhythm 03

Steady daily energy

Korean Ginseng (Panax ginseng)

Energy that depends entirely on a stimulant is energy that has to crash. Korean Ginseng is the most-studied adaptogen in Traditional Korean and Chinese herbal practice and is the subject of dozens of modern reviews (Journal of Ginseng Research, 2018) examining its support of mental alertness, mood balance, and steady non-stimulant stamina via the HPA axis.

How we choose what goes in a Halsen formula

Three filters every candidate ingredient must pass before earning a slot.

  1. Published evidence first. If the only research is anecdotal or in-vitro, it doesn't make the cut.
  2. Dose you can defend. No trace amounts. No "fairy dusting." Every dose printed on the label is one we'll discuss with a clinician.
  3. No stimulant dependence. Anything that only works under a heavy caffeine load doesn't fit our routine.

What Hormovance does not claim

Hormovance® is a dietary supplement, not a pharmaceutical. It is not a treatment, cure, or preventive for any disease — including obesity, type-2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, or hormone imbalances. It supports the body's own metabolic, appetite, and energy systems, and is best used alongside steady sleep, regular movement, a varied whole-food diet, and the guidance of your healthcare provider.

We do not promise weight loss, before-and-after transformations, or quick fixes. We offer a transparent, once-daily formula with the evidence to defend it.
