Three credentialed advisors. One job: keep us honest.
Every health-adjacent claim on tryhormovance.com is reviewed by our clinical advisors before publication. Our advisors hold no equity in Halsen Labs, are paid on a flat-fee basis, and have veto power over marketing language that contradicts the evidence.

Our editorial standards
The wellness category is full of overstated claims, recycled blog posts, and citations that don't say what the article says they say. We take a different approach. Below is how Hormovance content is researched, reviewed, and updated.
- Cite the primary literature. When we make a claim, we link to peer-reviewed studies indexed on PubMed/NIH, not secondary retailer pages.
- Distinguish evidence from tradition. If a claim is anchored in traditional use rather than clinical evidence, we say so plainly.
- Respect the regulatory line. Hormovance is a dietary supplement, not a drug. We do not use diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention language.
- Disclose what we don't know. If evidence is mixed, preliminary, or population-specific, we note the limitation.
- Acknowledge commercial intent. Halsen Labs sells Hormovance. We write within that constraint by holding the previous four lines.
- Update when evidence updates. Content is re-reviewed at least every 12 months, sooner when major new studies are published.
The four-step content workflow
Sourcing
A staff researcher gathers peer-reviewed studies for each claim — meta-analyses and systematic reviews first, then RCTs, then observational. Sources documented in an internal bibliography preserved with the page.
Drafting
A staff writer drafts the page using documented sources. Each claim ties to a specific reference. Preliminary or mixed evidence is flagged for the reviewer.
Review
The draft is reviewed by our editorial editor in collaboration with one or more clinical advisors. The reviewer checks claim-to-source match, regulatory tone, and reader clarity.
Publish & re-review
Published with a "last reviewed" date and added to our re-review calendar (minimum every 12 months). Reader correction requests trigger immediate re-review.
Conflict of interest policy
Halsen Labs sells Hormovance. Every word on this site is written within that commercial context. To keep the editorial integrity defensible, we apply three rules:
- · Clinical advisors hold no equity in the company and are paid flat-fee, not commission.
- · Marketing copy and editorial copy are written by different teams. Editorial holds veto over marketing claims that contradict evidence.
- · Customer testimonials are separated from clinical claims and are not used to imply outcomes the formula has not been studied for.
Corrections & reader feedback
We make mistakes. When we do, we want to fix them quickly and visibly.
- How to flag a correction. Email hello@tryhormovance.com with the page URL, the specific claim, and (if you can) a link to the source supporting the correction.
- Response time. Acknowledged within one business day; review completed within five business days.
- What we do. Substantive corrections are noted on the page in a "Corrections" section with the date and a brief description. Minor edits are made silently.
